TECHNOLOGY AND STRESS.

SOME QUESTIONS:

ARE MODERN PEOPLE ADDICTED TO TECHNOLOGY? WHAT IS THE PRICE FOR USING TECHNOLOGY? IS TECHNOLOGY GOOD FOR OUR HEALTH? IS NATURAL TO BE ON THE NET FOR SEVERAL HOURS? WHAT CAN THECNOLOGY DO TO THE BRAIN? DOES STRESS HAVE TO DO WITH TECHNOLOGY? ARE WE REALLY DOING THE BEST TO BE HEALTHY?

Well, I think those are some good questions that we need to think about. The porpoise of this blog is to take a glance to modern life and how technology affects our daily life.

SOME THINGS TO POINT OUT!
We are modern people and we think we are smart. The question is: Are we? Well, we are supposed to be, but sometimes even animals show more common sense or better habits than humans. Why?



The swans are so beautiful and they are there to show us what love is. When one gets a partner then they stick together forever. After one dies the other one dies too. Why? The second one dies because it lost its loved one. Isn’t that amazing? That is the reason why this beautiful aquatic bird is the symbol of love. Venus the goddess of love appears some times with this symbol and let’s remember the great Opera by Richard Wagner: PARSIFAL. What a magnificent work! Parsifal, the innocent boy, killed the swan! Yes, we all did because we were ignorant of what love really is about. Can we learn to love? I mean: Can we love with that power? Yes! We can, but that does not fit on this blog for now. We are living a very mechanical life: From the house to the school or from the house to the job and then from school or the job to the house. Are we really enjoying life? Do we have a good quality of life. Well, if you answer yes, let me tell you this: STRESS IS EVERYWHERE AND IT IS THE CAUSE OF ALMOST ANY SICKNEES!

Does it have something to do with technology? Certainly yes! The human body needs movement, action and adventure. Being seat down in a place for hours is not natural. Our muscles, specially, need movement to stay working properly. When we spent many hours in front of the computer or TV or playing games then we are destroying, in a very slowly way, our health! You really need to move when you are doing those activities. Stop for a moment then stretch out or walk or do some exercise and then go back to your computer or TV or game. Otherwise you will pay the price in a near future.

Our mind also needs some break. We are thinking too much. That is causing or triggering stress! The more you get worry about something the more you will think of that; but the answer to that problem might not come. You need to relax and get calmed in order to let your brain process the problem clearly and take the best decision.

A person cannot take the best decision when he/she is under pressure or worry or afraid. This is the importance to have a relaxed life or to have a time to relax and put things together in a tranquil environment. Yes, that is why meditation is so important.

So, we need to study and clarify these ideas.
